Funding entity Endesa-Chile
The main objective of this project is to prepare a forecast on a hypothetical electricity power market in Chile. This study is carried out under several hypotheses concerning:
1) Number of long-term contracts held by the different electric utilities.
2) System hydraulicity.
3) Demand increase.
Particular attention will be paid during the analysis of results to detecting potentially uncompetitive behavior. A close working relationship between the Institute for Technological Research of the Pontificia Comillas University and Endesa personnel is required in order to obtain these results.
